Before starting the work on the layout, there was a limited set of initial data, not allowing to get a full view for the production of an accurate model. Our workshop analyzed the engravings, schemes and drawings of the 17th-19th century with images of similar machines. Based on the collected materials, using 3D graphics, the appearance, device and details of the machine were reconstructed. The mechanism of operation of the gear system has been restored, to ensure, long and trouble-free operation of which, minor adjustments have been made to the profile of the involute gears.
Engraving of the XVIII century, for the reconstruction of drawings for the model.
For the production of the model, historically reliable materials were used as much as possible: wood, copper, and metal. The model has an engine that allows simulating the work of the machine.
